Christy has been an associate of famed vocal coach Renee’ Grant-Williams for 13 years. Renee’ and Christy’s clientele list reads like a "who’s who" of popular music. Renee’ has worked with Christina Aguilera, The Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Huey Lewis and many others. Christy’s students include Julie Roberts, Kim Carnes, Jeff Hanna of The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Jason Michael Carrol and Matraca Berg.

A recording artist in her own rite, Christy has recorded albums for Epic Records and Giant Records with award winning producers Garth Fundis (Trisha Yearwood, Keith Whitley, Don Williams), Mark Wright (Lee Ann Womack, Brooks & Dunn, Gretchen Wilson), Blake Chancey (The Dixie Chicks, Montgomery Gentry), and Matraca Berg (producer/recording artist and hit songwriter of such works as "Strawberry Wine" and "Wild Angels"). Christy has had multiple appearances on the Grand Ole Opry. She and her husband Matt Dudney are in full-time ministry, traveling and performing Contemporary Christian music. Her latest recording is titled "Sweet Little Jesus Boy."
